  • Corrected map-unit annular BPI kernels to use independent x and y cell dimensions, and require a projected CRS for radii expressed in map units.
  • Made normalized BPI return NA for zero-variance or unavailable focal neighborhoods rather than an accidental NaN.
  • Made exact = TRUE polygon summaries coverage-fraction weighted for mean, population standard deviation, median, sum, and effective cell count; single-layer exact summaries now preserve the raster layer name.
  • Corrected polygon summaries and isobath-corridor extraction for vectors with no attribute table by assigning stable zone identifiers.
